How to Make Money on Odesk

Making money on oDesk may be just what you need to supplement your income. The most important part of making money is to do well in oDesk skills tests. Successfully complete testing increases the number of jobs you can apply and check the skills that have say, convincing employers to hire you.

Instructions

Create an account on oDesk

1)Navigate oDesk.com. Click the button "Create an Account" (Create an account) in the upper left corner of your screen. Click the "Contractors start here" button (Contractors start here) on the right side of the screen to go to the page "Create an Account". Follow the instructions displayed on the screen to make your own. Click "Get Started" (Start) when finished.

2)Click the button "Create Your Profile" (Create a profile). Follow the instructions on the screen to complete your profile, click the button "Save Profile and Continue" (Save profile and continue) to continue.


3)Search your email account with oDesk message "Please verify your email address" (Please check your e-mail) in the subject line. Click the verification link following the instructions in the email to verify your account.

Skills assessment tests

1)Click "Tests" (tests) on the tab "Find Work" (find work) to go to the page of qualification tests.

2)Select a category from the dropdown menu and click the button "Search" (Search) to find evidence supporting that claim to have knowledge in your profile. Your first test should be to "oDesk Readiness Test" (test preparation oDesk). Instructions for configuring the oDesk Team software are included in these tests, as well as the basic rules. It is an open book test and you do not have to prepare in advance. Successful completion of the oDesk Readiness Test increases the number of jobs, from two to 20, you can apply.

3)ODesk select from the drop down box categories. Click the button "Search". Click on the "oDesk Readiness Test" (test preparation oDesk) located near the bottom of the page. Read the instructions and click the button "Ready to take the test?" (Are you ready to take the test?). Click "Start Test" (Start test) and begins to complete it, following the instructions on the screen. Click "Continue" (Continue) when finished.

4)Repeat this process to take additional evidence that you possess the skills they say. Upon successful completion of these tests of skill you will have the opportunity to find work and earn money for projects using these skills.
